Mr and Mrs George Sehnan and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Allen have returned from a two-week trip. They went to Yellowstone park and Lake Louise in Canada Can-ada and returned by way of Washington. Wells Phone 0893J1 The annual ward outing will be held Tuesday beginning" at 10 a.m at Saratoga Resort- Swimming, sports, and a ball game will be' featured and all ward members and former Vineyard residents are invited. At 8 p.m. in the ward hall, a program of stunts and music will be given and refreshments served. Bishop Tayor Allen extends ex-tends an invitation to all Vine yard peope to join in the outing, Mrs. Oreil Clegg and Wilson Jenkins will have charge of the program. Mr. and Mrs. George Blake and children of Columbus, Ohio are visiting relatives in Utah for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Lar son were honored at a get-together of a group of cousins at the Randell Holdaway farm. A watermelon bust and a bonfire program were enjoyed by 40 family members. The Larsons will leave in September for Chicago where he will attend school. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Cooley of Kamas and Mrs. Mary Spen cer of Ogden were weekend visitors at the home of their sister, Mrs. Thomas Wells. - Dr. and Mrs. Grant Blake have returned home from Mex ico where he has been working for the government for the past year. Mrs Eldon Harding and son, Randy have been visiting with relatives in Wilmington. Calif ornia. Dale will continue his law studies at Col umbia University SHARON Jean MacDonald 0893-J3 Bishop and Mrs. Stanley Finch gave a dinner party in honor of Glenn Vernon on Friday Fri-day evening. Mr. Vernon has been released from the bishop ric and has moved to American Fork. Those present at the din ner were Mr. and Mrs, Clark Collings, - Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Rowley, Mr and Mrs. Dee Elder Eld-er and Mr. Vernon. A pleasant evening was enjoyed. Mrs. Ethyl Finch and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cordner are visiting Yelowstone Park. All ladies of the ward are in vited to attend the Relief Soc iety social and work meeting on Tuesday, August 31 at 1 p.m. at the Sharon ward chapel-Mrs- Agnes Bellows will give a special teachers topic and the teachers reports will be given. Wendell Collings, who has been home on a ten-day furlough, fur-lough, left Monday for his new camp in Denver, Colorado. He has been stationed in San Antonio, An-tonio, Texas. Roy and Ray Faucett, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Faucett have returned to their bases after a furlough spent at the home of their parents. Plans are being made for the opening of the ward MIA. The opening date will be announced soon.
