I. Moon and R. Que Steele families. Mrs. Martha Pyne was honored hon-ored on her 70th birthday with a birthday dinner at the patio at the James Jensen home. A program pro-gram was given. Present were th efollowing family members: Mr. and Mrs. Guy Cutler and children of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Pyne and children; child-ren; Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bellows Bel-lows and children, Mrs. Max Pyne and children, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jensen and baby son and the James Jensen family. Mrs. Milt R. Littlefield entertained en-tertained Monday with a party for h son, Rickie, on his sixth birthday. Mrs. G. E. Childs, Caroline and Johnny, visited over the holiday hol-iday weekend in Vernal. She was accompanied by her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Marshall. Pvt. Don Ridge visited the past two weeks with his parents, Mr .and Mrs. Alfred Ridge. He has been at Camp Roberts and leaves for Camp Lewis, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Billings Patten, Helen Maycock and Tom Patten spent the weekend at Hebgen Lake in West Yellowstone. They returned home Monday by way of the Tetons. Elwin Harris, son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Harris of Syracuse, New York, was a visitor Monday at the Frank Wof finden home. He is in Utah to attend school at the University of Utah. Mrs. Hazel Liston has gone to Montana where she will visit with her son, Russell Liston, and family. Linda Taylor fell from a tree near her home and had to be taken to the Utah Valley hospital hos-pital with several broken ribs. Ske is reported to d recovering nicely at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Taylor. week with Joan Anderson In Gun nison. They left Sunday morning for a visit in Los Angeles. Mrs. Phoebe Welling is at home again after being away most of the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Webster Web-ster and daughter Jenell of Park er, Arizona arrived Saturday for a visit here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joy O. Clegg and fam ily. Mrs. Preal Campbell of San Antonia, Texas, has been visiting at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Ornal Roper and children and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Harding enjoyed a vacation vac-ation at Paradise Park last week. Donald Ross has gone to Vernal Ver-nal where he will be employed. Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson Jack-son and son of Salt Lake City spent Labor Day with her mother Mrs. Victor M. Anderson. I I d Richard Eves visited in Vineyard over the weekend with his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Schroder. He was enroute to his home in Baldwin Park, Calif, after returning from France where he has spent the past three years as an LDS missionary. Tracy Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Anderson, underwent un-derwent a major operation at the Utah Valley hospital Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. C. N. Gammon left Wednesday morning for Seattle. Their daughter, Mrs. Harold Har-old Robbins and children, returned return-ed to their home in Seattle after spending the summer here. Mr. and Mrs. H. Sherman Howard and children, Carolyn, Ranae and Merrill, returned last week from a vacation trip to Canada. Can-ada. They visited Yellowstone Park and in Lethbridge, Cardston and Raymond, Canada, then came back through Glacier National Park. I. Moon were hosts at a barbeque supper in honor of Capt. and Mrs. Ralph Ashby and four children of Nel lis Airbase, Nevada. Capt. Ashby is instructing on jets since his 100 missions in Korea. While there they saw the first ship load of war prisoners to be re turned to U. S. The Saturday enroute to the east. They left Tuesday by plane for New Jersey. Lt. Loveless' mother Mrs. Ray Loveless accompanied them, their children remained at the home of their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Roland Harding. Lt. Loveless is a pilot on the United Air Lines. They plan on moving to New Jersey to make ther home. Members of the Philo T. Edwards famly held a reunion Saturday at Logan where they Brewers enjoyed swimming and a picnic traveled the coast highway to luncheon. Thirty seven were Portland.
