' Mrs. Ethyl Pyne of the Stake Relief Society presidency will be pres ent. All are invited to attend. Last Sunday two babies were blessed and given a name. Weston Wes-ton and Mrs. Florence Bone Taylor had their baby given the name of Leslie Ann. Harold and Ida Slack Cowley had their baby named Bruce Reed Cowiey. Stanley Taylor and Hardy Bean have come home. Hardy Bean is on a short furlough. After a 30 day furlough, Kent Patten has returned to his ship. Going with him to Stattle, Wash ington, were his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Patten and Mr and Mrs. A. Ray Eklns. Ensign Omar Hansen is stationed sta-tioned in California where his wife (LaVon Gurr) has been visiting him. Mrs. Hansen re turned this weekend- Max M. Daley returned Wednesday Wed-nesday from the Philippines and left Thursday for Roosevelt where his wife, the former Wanda Hill is teaching scnoc-L They will make their home in Roosevelt. Misses Fawn and Joy Hill, who are teaching in Roosevelt, were weekend visitors with their parents. Eugene Aagard has returned home from the Pacific and Ja pan, his wife is the former Mary Daley. They also have a little son. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ashton, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kay Snow and Mr. and Mrs. Arlington Arling-ton Snow of California. Kay Snow has been released from the navy. Mr. and Mrs. Newell Baum visited with his brother, Sunday at Bingham, who is convalescing from a major operation. VINEYARD The infant son of Owen and Leora Hojdaway Harding was named Robert. Owen and the son of E. Carlyle and Velda Car son Bunker was named Edward Carson; Reed and Beth Wilkinson Wilkin-son Garlick named their son Dale Eugene, at the fast day services. Mr. and Mrs. J. Alma Olson, spent the weekend In Salt Lake with relatives- Mr. and Mrs. Delbart Wells of Joseph, Sevier county and Mrs. Rulon Wells of Lindon visited during the week with their uncle Thomas Wells. Mr. and Mrs. Antolne L. Bunker are moving into their new home. The Primary officers and teachers met at the home of Mrs. Roy Gammon, Thursday eve ning. Wells entertained at a dinner party at their home Saturday evening for a group of friends. Dinner was served at small tables and the hostess was assisted by her daughters Mrs. Harold Bailey and Wilda Wells, and Mrs. Lewis F. Wells a daughter-in-law. Colored slides were shown by Lewis F. Wells. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. Milton Holdaway, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Ray-mond Harding, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Verna Powell, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Madsen and Mr. and Mrs. August Johnson. EDGEMONT Mrs. Orpha James of Portland, Oregon, is visiting here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferguson. Fer-guson. Her father's condition Is much Improved, following the amputation of his arm at Utah Valley hospital last week, and he probably will be moved to the family home soon. W. B. The baby son of James and Jean Schoney Fulghum was named Joseph James at fast meeting Sunday. The babe's father Is enroute home from army duties in the Pacific.
