Show Page 10 THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS Volume II, Issue XVI 15 August 2000 Announcements Weddings Bingham-Andrushko Exchanging nuptial vows on Tuesday, July 18, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, were the former Danielle Bingham and Ben Andrushko. The bride is the daughter of Dennis V. and Rosann Bingham of Huntsville. Parents of the bridegroom are George and Elaine Andrushko of Harrisville. A reception at the Bingham residence was held afterward. She chose Kim Lund as maid of honor. Jacob Lund carried out the duties of best man. The new Mr. and Mrs. Andrushko will live in Ogden, after their wedding trip to Florida. He is employed with Kimberly Clark. The bride graduated from Weber High School and the bridegroom is a graduate of Fremont High School. Missionaries Elder Robert R. Robins, son of Barbara Robins of Eden and Clint Robins of Sandy, has been called to serve in the Brazil Sao Paulo Interlagos Mission. His farewell address was held on July 30 at the Eden 1st Ward. Elder Wade Theodore Pilcher, son of Carol Lee Pilcher and the late John R. Pilcher of Liberty, has been called to serve in the Australia M e l b o u r n Mission. His farewell address will be held August 27 at 10:45 a.m. at the Liberty 3rd Ward, 2900 N. Hwy 162 in Eden. King-Beeson Allison King and David Beeson were married Friday, July 28, at the Wolf Creek Gold Resort, in Eden. The bride is the daughter of Allen and Connie Donoviel of West Point, and Robert and Robin King of Liberty. Parents of the bridegroom are Larry and Charlotte Beeson of North Ogden. A reception was held afterward at the Wolf Creek Gold Resort. She chose Amy Fujimoto as maid of honor, and Ryan Smedley carried out the duties of best man. The bride is a graduate of Clearfield High School and awaiting a nursing degree from Weber State University. The bridegroom is a graduate of Weber High School and is a journeyman through A.C.Electric. The couple will reside in South Ogden, after a honeymoon to the San Juan Island and Vancouver, British Columbia. Creamer – Fackrell Jennifer Creamer and Leon Fackrell were married Saturday, August 5, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of LaMar and Tami Creamer of Liberty. Parents of the bridegroom are Howard Fackrell of Taylor and Teresa Rogowski of North Ogden. A reception was held on August 12, at the Camp Atoka Lodge in Huntsville. Both are graduates of Weber High School and LDS Seminary. They will continue their studies at Utah Sate University. He served in the Guatemala, Guatemala City south LDS Mission. Following a honeymoon trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the new Mr. & Mrs. Fackrell will live in Logan. Obituaries Peter Paul Rich Jr. HUNTSVILLE – Peter Paul Rich Jr., 72, passed away July 11, 2000, at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born June 22, 1928 in Michigan, a son of Agnes Leszczynski and Peter Paul Rich. Peter served in the Navy. He was a member of the American Legion V.F.W. and Eagles. Surviving is one sister, Agnes (Ann) Rich, North Carolina. Cremation by Leavitt’s Aultorest Memorial Crematory under the direction of Leavitt’s Mortuary. Lois S. Breeze OGDEN—Lois Sherrill Breeze died Friday, July 21, 2000 in South Ogden. She was born February 22, 1910, in Galesburg, Illinois, a daughter of Charles and Jessie Cure Sherrill. The family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended grade school through college. She graduated from Butler University and John Herron Art School on a scholarship, with one year of graduate study at John Herron. She also attended Cape Cold School of Art on a scholarship. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi and served on the Board of Trustees at The Children’s Museum, Indianapolis, where she received citations for volunteer service. On June 17, 1939, Lois married Joseph F. Breeze in “The Little Church Around The Corner” in New York City, New York. Joseph died March 9, 1977. She moved to Ogden in 1951, where she became active in art circles and continued her painting. She taught children’s art classes at Eccles Community Art Center and served on their board. She served on the original board of the Myra Powell Gallery. Lois was a member of the Ogden City Art Commission and served as Vice President for many years. She was also a member of the Art Advisory Board at Weber State University. She attended many workshops with prominent U.S. Artists and received many honors and awards for her paintings. Lois was a member of the Utah Watercolor Society and Palette Club of Ogden. Lois served as a board member of the Weber County Heritage Foundation and as a member of the Ogden Golf and Country Club, the Weber Club, and the Alta Club in Salt Lake City. Lois is survived by two sons, Joseph F. Breeze Jr., and Nicholas S. (Gail) Breeze; both of Ogden; two granddaughters, Leslie and Erin, both of San Luis Obispo, California. Also surviving are two nieces, Phyliss O’Neal, Mt. Dora, Florida; Shirley Gallagher, Woodland, California; and Missy, her miniature schnauzer. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Memorial services were held Wednesday, July 26 at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Ogden.
