Weber State University has the third-ranked football team in the FCS in the country. That is fantastic! Way to go Coach Hill and team! The student section is sometimes half full—the rest of the stands are spotty. We have a team that is one of the three best in the country and during the last three years, has contended for a National Championship. We have won the Big Sky the last two years. What are we waiting for? There is no Thank you for coming to my wonderful 70th surprise party held November 16 at Roosters in Ogden, which my dear husband Johan and daughter Brenda hosted for me. It was like a dream come true to see you all again. Drienie Hattingh, Formerly of Eden Shown right, recently celebrating Drienie Hattingh’s 70th birthday at Roosters, are Eric Petross, Brenda Hattingh, Elane Ferney, Natalie Pace, Mariane Mortensen, Penny Ogle, Wendy Toliver, Janet Thompson, Beth Bell, Sherry Wallwork, Michele McKinnon, and Drienie & Johan Hattingh at far right. Also at the party, but not shown, were Terry Clancy, Margaret Zeemer, Janet Batisti, Christy Monson, and Kym Buttschardt. need to travel to Provo, Logan, or Salt Lake City to watch good football.
