LLC here in for me! Ogden Valley gym-goers’ thirst and dedication to stay in shape has inspired High Altitude Fitness to expand its ever-improving operations. Expanding and renovating the area next door, High Altitude Fitness will take over a space previously utilized by Dottie Beck’s. The new space will add over 600 square feet, and become High Altitude Fitness’ center for cardiovascular fitness. “We’re very excited to enhance our members’ experience by completing this expansion,” commented Caralee Burton, co-owner. “It’s important for us to create a unique and effective exercise outlet for everyone who wishes to use our facilities.” High Altitude Fitness now has three rooms open to all of its members. The original two rooms will continue to house the fitness classes and weight room. The third room will house spinning classes and all cardiovascular exercise equipment, including a new state-of-the-art rowing machine and glute/hamstring machine. “This expansion added extra space to all areas of our gym, which were a little cramped before,” said Chandra Barrong, co-owner. “We’re enormously invested in the results of all our members, and this expansion was the next logical step in helping them achieve their goals.” The additional square footage has allowed High Altitude Fitness to add barbells, dumbbells, and more benches for power lifting in the gym’s weight room, as well as a small locker room. Furthermore, the renovation provided space for Barrong and Burton to implement a new, innovative class appropriately called the Power Half Hour. This unique, 30-minute class is a results-based program designed to rapidly increase lean muscle mass while shedding weight. “For those looking to increase strength, but worried about bulking up, this class is for you,” Barrong stated. High Altitude Fitness is renowned for its small, personal classes. With its owners heavily involved in the gym’s programs, High Altitude Fitness is continually committed to changing lives by helping people reach their individual fitness potential. “Even though these are tough economic times, the benefits overwhelmingly outweigh the cost,” said Andrea Durrant, long-time High Altitude Fitness member. “The physical and emotional betterment I receive is priceless.” High Altitude Fitness has been serving the Ogden Valley for over two and a half years. Continuing its mission to help its members achieve their optimal health and fitness goals, High Altitude Fitness offers custom-tailored classes, exercise programs, and personal training to assist people in attaining the highest results.
