Show I LOOKING AHEAD. W ith a million-dollar improvement in the railroad yards of Og den and other millions to be expended in the development of grain elevators and flour mills, Ogden should be looking forward to a year of growth Before next summer work should be started on a new sewer pipe factory and the Ogden arsenal should be employing f00 to 600 men. Much of this activity was planned to start this fall, but there have been unavoidable delays which will carry the work over to 1921 The Globe mills, as announced in this paper Sunday, will add to its storage tanks and build a small town for its employes. The Sperry mills are to have a larger number of tanks and its j big flour mill will be placed in operation some time early in 1921. Other industries are coming and all of them should make Ogden a city of unusual opportunity during the next year or two. |
