Show UTAH MINING MAN DIES IN CALIFORNIA SALT LAKE. June 12. Well known 'in the mining camps of I'tah and Nevada, Ne-vada, W E. Harrison, 73 years of ago and formerly mfal mines Inarpector of I i ah, died at the home of his daughter, daugh-ter, Mth. Ruth Harrison Petrel 1, wife of Louis PerreJl, Los Angeles. Cal.. Saturday night from stomach trouble. Ho was a member of Ihe Masonic lodge at Pioche. Nev.. of which he was i past master. Mr. Harrison was born at Nashville. Tenn.i and engaged In the drujr busi ness In that city until poor health compelled com-pelled him to move west and seek outdoor out-door occupations. He moved to Colorado Colo-rado In lRSO. engaging In mining in Roulder county until twentv years ago, when he moved to I'tah. and In May, l'21 moved to Pioche. Nev, where he had charge of former Governor Simon Bamberger's mining interests. He was metal mines inspector for i'tah from November. 191X. until May. 1921. Mr Harrison moved to his daughter's home at Los Angeles. He was a widow -er. his wife having died several years ago. CO |
