Advices rr -jcelved here were to the effect that J.din Mcjfinteo, 7 7 jears of age, plo-; plo-; ncer. died at Portland; Ore . on Mon- day afternoon, last while "on a visit there He was a member of the Salt Lake council of the Knlffhts of Columbus Col-umbus and was well known here. Fun- ral services Will be held from the Ca-lln Ca-lln dral of do Mudeh-ne Friday morning morn-ing ut 10 O'clock with interment In Calvary cemetery. He v. as born in Cavan county, Ireland. Ire-land. May 20, IMS. in hie eurly youth he came to America, and first settled in Minnesota, where he entered the l imb t business. He later moved to , Laramie, Wyo , w here he entered the I employ of the Pnlon Pacific railroad. ' He was transferred to Portland. Ore., where he remained for 12 years He waa again transferred this time to Salt Lake, and had spent tho last 22 years of his life here In the employ of the Oregon Short Line as a roadmasler. Mr. McEntee is survived by two sons, E C. McEntee and E. L. Mi Km-tee Km-tee and two daughters, Mrs Charles , A. Magulre of Salt Lake and Mrs EX. l. Sullivan of Green River Wyo |
