Among the things he found in the trunk was an old copy of The Ogden Junction, a newspaper published on Wednesday and Saturday, of the issue of December 20, 1876. The masthead of the paper indicates that. Charles W. Penrose was the editor and Walter Thomson was the business manager. The paper contains eight pages, with five columns to the page. Onthe first page appeared the Ogden Directory, listing the arrival and closing of mails, the train schedules for the six trains a day, the religious services and the hours maintained by the city library.
