Gardner have had as their guests of last week, Mrs. Robert Storey and little daughter of Los Angeles, California. Mrs. Storey was formerly Miss Thelma Taylor of Plain City, and a Weber county school teacher. She taught school in Liberty in the year 1923. Her husband is Robert Storey, formerly of North Ogden. Mr, and Mrs. Gardner have also had as their guest their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. A. Jl. Paulsen, TARTING formerly of Plain City. Mrs. Toul-se- n and Mrs. Storey taught school in Liberty the same year. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Montgomery new and family have been visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. 11. A. Montgomery, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ud I j 1 morning. Marlow Stoker, who recently returned from a thirty months mission in the Hawaiian Islands, spent the past week visiting with missionary companions and friends. Mr. and Mrs. James Daily received word yesterday of the death of their Mrs. Margret Peterdaughter-in-lason Dailey, of Derkeley, California. Mrs. Roy Loyd of Ogden has been staying with her mother, Mrs, II. C. Gardner and helping her with the rasplierry crop. John C. Neal, formerly of Liberty, hut now of Ogden, met with a serious accident recently when riding a horse in the mountains east of Huntsville. Mr. Neal says he was riding up a steep mountain slope when the horse 'lost his footing and fell over backwards, and Mr. Neal under him. The horse lay perfectly still for ten or fifteen minutes, and Mr. Neal was in a condition. When he was able to speak to the horse, he thought it was dead, for it would not move. After considerable pulling and tugging he was able to give the horse a shove with his foot. The horse then truggled to his feet. With much difficulty Mr. Neal succeeded in minting the horse.
