Their Rack Stage Idea is novel, quite the most unusual revue of its kind ever put upon the stage, and everywhere it has played it has caus. ed a The revue is in the form of a sent-atio- "re-- 1 some impatience. 1 will detain you but a moment longer. And yet, let us hope, it is not quite true. tat us hope, rather, that by the best cultivation of the physical world, beneath and around u. and the intellectual and moral world within us, we shall secure an individual, social,' and political prosperity ami happiness, whose course shall be onward ami upward, and which, while the earth endures, shall hcarsal, with the stage bare. It is not often that the audience is allowed to see what a stage, stripped of its ornate hangings and drapes looks like. One sees chorus girls practicing their stops. One sees carienttrs and electricians a) work everything that goes to make up the world of the footlights and Of course the entire is worked up with a smoothness and speed that creates a masterful bit of entertainbuck stage ment, but the genuine atmosphere is faithfully adhered to. The final scene, however, is in the form of a dress rehearsal, and here Fanchon & Marco have an opportunity of displaying the gorgeous costumes and scenic effects they are so justly noted for. A number of headline vaudeville acts are in the Rack Stage Idea. Helene Hughes and Roy Smoot are noted for their singing. Ates and Darling, newly arrived from triumphs on Eastern stages, will bo seen. Vivian Fay's nimble dancing has a prominent spot on the lull, as does the adagio dancing of Kmilc and Koinamo. Of course there are the Sunkist Beauties" to complete the large and not pass away. accomplished cast. The management of the Paramount theatre promises you the thrill of the News year. Thomas W.
