Superiority has long been claimed by the makers of Dodge car, but it was not until last Wednesday that the people of Kaysville had a remarkable demonstration of its stability and mechanical perfection. At noon on that day, just as the employes of the Inland Printing company were filing out of the door, on' lunch intent, a d sedan came Dying Dodge around the curve on the state highway from the south. The speed of the car was so great that the driver could not hold the road, and, in trying to gain control, swerved off the concrete from one side to the other. When opposite the office of the Inland Printing company, the driver made another eftort to gain control, and, in so doing, turned the car at right angles with the roadway, but the speed was so terrific that the car turned completely over, landing on all four wheels. Remarkable as it may seem, the wind- shield was not broken, and only two of the panes of glass in the right side of the car were smashed. When the car came to a atop, the driver was under the steering wheel and his man partner was in the back of the car. Immediately the car was surrounded, and among those present was Ilenrv H. Blood, chairman of the state road commission. Investigation was made and it was found that neither the driver nor his companion were injured in the least. A bottle of booze, only part full, was found in the car by Mr. Blood, who ordered the strangers to back their car off the concrete and remain while he called the sheriffs office at Farmington. The driver started his engine, backed off the road, threw the lever for straight ahead and left town, going north cutting the curve at fifty w - Upton Close addressed of the Ben Lomond club st the Hotel Bigelow last night.
