After viewing the death car the adjournment was taken into the hearing. The funeral services for Mrs. Stewart will be held this afternoon at' two o'clock, in the Eighth ward chapel. Mrs. Stewart was instantly killed a.t about 6:30 o'clock Saturday night while in front of her home on the North Ogden road, when struck by the automuhile driven by l A, Rodgers, 40 years of age, 764 Twenty-firs- t street. Mr. and Mrs. Stewurt left their home, a half mile north of the city limits, to walk to the carline. Mr. Stewart stopped ,to look in a mail box. As he turned to' the road lie saw the Rodger's automobile coming at a high rate of speed. He waved his arms to try and stop the car and jumped off the side of the pavement. The next instant, Stewart said the car struck Mrs. Stewart killing her in- , lh.
