Mrs. Sarah Arave left Saturday for Shelley, Idaho, to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Eva Gotch, who has been ill. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Arave at the Dee hospital last week. The Sunday school outing at South Fork canyon was a very successful affair. Many of the officers and teachers attended. The day was spent in hiking and enjoying the wonders of South Fork. They visited Camp Kie-sand climbed to the Big Springs. A bonfire was made in the evening, and the group made merry while they enjoyed a picnic supper. The Hooper Primary will hold a social next Tuesday In the grove for all the children of Primary age. Hooper A league baseball team lost another game last Saturday when North Ogden scored 0 runs to their S. A group of 15 scouts and leaders left last Monday morning for the canyon to hike to Mt. Ogden. J. C. Hooper supervised the outing. 8couts participating were; Henry Cottle, Carl Hooper, Aldous Manning, Evan Jones, Don Fowler, John Finch, Milton Howard Widdison, Norman Douglas, and Harold Stoker. Others accompaning the boys were Harold Cox, Roland Flinders, Floyd Child, and Chas. Smith. Norman Read fell from his horse last week and broke his hand in two places. Mrs. Afton Stevens, of Provo, has come to spend a month with her mother, Mrs. Ellen Johnston. Miss Jennie Child has as house guests this week, Mr. and Mra. Raymond McCurcy, of Montana, California. Mrs. Clarence Gardner, of Afton, Wyo., is visiting with Mrs. James G. Widdison. Ethel Johnston, Lillian Widdison, and Maud Rigby attended a meeting in Ogden Tuesday evening at the home of Ruth Tanner to discuss summer camp activities. Miss Elva Moss of Salt Lake gave a very interesting program for summer campers to follow. A number of daughters from the Hooper camps will attend the Weber county outing at Lorln Farr park el Wid-diso- n, ' next Thursday for the Daughters of the Pioneers. Marion Widdison went on a hike up North Fork canyon last Friday morning with a group of friends from Liberty. Following the hike the party enjoyed a swim at El Monte Springs. Mrs. Thora Snyder, of Ogden is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Nell Johnston. Mrs. Ida Penman entertained at supper Sunday evening.
