The new service policy is designed to provide every possible safeguard o assure the new owner full use and enjoyment of the thousands of miles of trouble-fre- e transportation built nto the Oakland Eight and the Pon-;ia- c Big Six under the exacting manufacturing standards maintained at the factory. When a buyer takes delivery of a new Oakland or Pontiac he now receives a booklet in which are printed the provisions of the new owners service policy. Also he is given an identification card which enables him to receive the benefits of the policy from any OaklandrPontiae dealer in the United States. The advantage of this arrangement is particularly obvious to those who go on tour with a new car. The first provision of the service policy assurs the buyer that his new car is delivered in perfect condition, thoroughly inspected, adjusted and lubricated. The second clause provides for the replacement of parts required because of defective material or faulty workmanship under the Oakland-Pontia- c standard warranty, without charge either for parts or tho necessary labor for installing same.
