Pink roses combined with ferns were the attractive decorations for the dinner table, princess candles in crystal holders were placed at either end. Bridge followed in the drawing room. Covers were laid for sixteen guests. Mrs. W. R. Doxey entertained at a luncheon Saturday afternoon at the home of her mother, Mrs. J. S. Campbell, 2874 Fowler avenue, in honor of Mrs. D. Flewellyn Roberts, who departed this week to make her home in Salt Lake. The luncheon table was prettily decorated with California poppies in a crystal basket for the center-piecwhile at either end were crystal holders with princess tapers in orange color. The place cards were in Halloween design. Lovely fall flowers were used in the rooms throughout the house. The guest list included Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. W. T. Read, Mrs. J. L. Packer, Mrs. W. E.
