Chateau on Twenty-fourt- h Herman Laker post is one of the best in the entire organization. In its membership are about G50 veterans of the world war who were honorably discharged from the service. At least the membership of the local post is very representative. In converting the old Methodist churfh into fine tlubrooms for use of the post, the legionnaires have reclaimed a profcrty situuted in the heart of the city, which was apparently destined to be relegated to the scrap heap. When completed, the building will be a credit to Ogden. It is the plan of the legionnaires to make it available as a convention hall and civic auditorium. As Ogden needs one, the Legion is therefore not only adding to the city a distinct 'asset, but filling a need. the support given unsolicited by a number of very prominent IocbI bus iness men is indeed commendable as a mark of appreciation for the service rendered during the war by the legionnaires and as a tribute to the American legion's great peacetime program.
