Ogden can boast many boosters, but it Is questionable if the city ever had one whose unrelenting vigor has been so unselfishly given to the citys interests as has Mr. DeVines work and efforts. Being naturally gifted as an orator, and having acquired legal ability, Mr. DeVine has never hesitated to apply his talents militantly toward a bigger Ogden. lie is likewise a man of foresight. It is quite natural that he is not without those in the chamber of commerce who do not agree with him. Some who might oppose him are perhaps selfish in their views and others may be honest in their convictions when they disagree. To them it ran be said: All right, pick a better man. It happens to be a fort that Mr. DeVine did not seek rcelcction. but answered the call of service. He will not always be president of the chamber and there Is ample oppor tunity to select others, but for the next year Mr. DeVine deserves the unqualified support of the citys iness interests. If other members of the chamber of commerce will devote as much time and energy to the city as Mr. DeVine has devoted during his two previous terms, a great deal of good can be accomplished. There is a marked undertone of cooperation and harmony in the hoard of directors of the chamber at the present time. The board is composed of strong and representative men in whom there is power to be of service to the advancement ofgrat the citys commercial interests. They should have support from all aides. erice Mt Jm-at 7.3I p. m tbe church, m. fellow h ip, Thunday- - "I be Young People in tbe (inilii Hall, at p. n.
