Upon the mailer of roads throughout the county it was reported that a number of repairs will be necessary, in the way of new drains and culvert., and grading and graveling a number of the roads. Three petitions were received from residents of Elaterville. Harris ville aud Farr West with about one hundred aud fifty signers asking the county to grade and gravel the road between Harrls-villand Slaterville, atsiul two miles in length or more. The matter was referred to Commissioner Powers for investigation and report. Commissioner Fowers reported tbe bridge over the Hooper canal ill West Weber distriet had been repaired for the opening of spring traffic. Corntnist-ioueStanford was authorized to purchase new furniture for tbe new addition to tbe county infirmary. Mr. Stanford further reported that County Fruit Tree Inspector, Robert E. Wilson, had commenced his tailors in the orchards of the county. Upon the matter of the organization of the association, Mr. Stanford reported that very successful had been meetings of the held and everything was progressing favorably towards the organization and a meeting would be held next Saturday when tbe constitution would bo accepted and the articles of incorporation drawn tip and signed.
