I have read and heard of Central Park, but a person baa to see it to realize one tenth part of its attrac tions. 1 saw many sights here that were interesting and new to me, but perhaps would not be to you. We crossed the Niagara River, on that great structure, the suspension bridge, and had a good view of the Niagara falls, and othr magnificent sights. But they were not half as interesting to me as the mount ains, lakes, etc., of Utah. The knowledge of our being on spect. the train preceded us, and at many stations the peeple collected to get a sight of the strange beings, "Mormons." At one station two little girls, as soon as the train stopped, crowded up to the window where I was sitting, and looked in, and one said to the other: "Why, they look just like other folks!" But we had eur bats on se they could not see our horns. Very unmannerly, I admit, to wear our hats. Many came into the cars to see us, saying they had never seen "Mormons" before. I shall have to close, as it is time te go on beatd ship. We shall sail on the Wid3oosin at three o'clock this afternoon. Give my respects to all enquiring friends. I rt main m ever, etc..
