at ogden city this was a matter of great gre at importance in to the business men and citizens generally and it was now for the gentlemen composing in this meeting to suggest for its adoption the means best calculated to accomplish their purpose the speaker said he be had been ocen requested on behalf of the Mavor Mayer to say that gentleman regretted hia his inability to bo present at the desir desired nj on motion of F J biesel seconded by 31 J crosby tho the resolutions were adopted d ted by unanimous vote capt bansford Kans ford smith addressed the meeting he ile was favorable to the measures embodied in tho the resolutions I eions which had just been ado adopted tu if we wish to be helped ty by others to build up this city and make it greater wo we must put our r should boulders cra to the wheel ourselves and help to do the work that will enable ogden to take her proper position the position for which she is geographically phi cally and otherwise so eminently fitted for those purposes the company had bad done nothing now the question is shall wo we have the machi machine tio shops you propose to do something for ther company if the company will do cometh
