Show THEATERS OGDEN THEATER. That 'East Lynne. " known to almost al-most everv playgoer, is still a popular play is made evident b the large number of people who attended the excellent performance at the Ogdeu theater last night. Despite the fact l that almost every person in the house I had witnessed a production of the i play at some previous time, great interest in-terest was manifested and the audience audi-ence was generous in applause. The plav w as presented with a I style that was refreshing and proved I a revelation to many who had seen only the cheaper, blood -and-thunder I productions of the play. The role of Archibald Carlyle was excellently I bandied by .Thomas Paw lev. and as! Barbara Hare. May me Arington was all that could be desired. Florence I Oaig was well cast In the part of Ladv Isabel, portraying that character charac-ter In a skilful manner. Excellent support was furnished by the re mainder of the cast. Specialties between acts bv Little Casey. Edward Moran and Hpleu Conemac added much to the enjoyment enjoy-ment of the production The play of I ' East Lynne" continues until Simdav i night, when "The Relle of Richmond" j is announced by Manager Walter Arington. |
