Show uj BACHELORS OF KANSAS TO MARRY Ulysses, Kan., Dec. 29. As a starter start-er on its leap-year publicity campaign cam-paign against the single women of the state and country, the Grant County Bachelors' club will give a big banquet In tho Ulysses town hall tonight. Plans for systematic action toward obtaining suitable wives for memhors will be discussed. The club has 35 members "substantial "substan-tial eligible bachelors of the county." Kansas girls will bo given the preference pref-erence but the field is open to tho entlro nation, according to tho secretary's sec-retary's announcement. The club was reorganized for the present campaign last week. Eighteen charter members, mem-bers, who married following a previous pre-vious campaign by the club, will be the guests of honor tonight. |
