Mr. Herrlck was born in Ogden Sep-I Sep-I tcmbcr 7, 1859, and had spent his on-I on-I tire life in this city For many cars I he followed farminc. later working fcr the Southern Pacific railroad and for seven years prior to his connection connec-tion with the police department he was employed as a motorman for the I Ogden Rapid Transit compan His service In the employ of the city bad been almost r ontinuous for the pa even year On November 17. 183, he was' united In marriage to Mrs Mary A Thompson who survives him. He Is also survived hy the mother, Mrs : Mary Brocks Herrick The lurvh -i lng children are Myrtle F and Clyde W Herrlck and L C. Thompson, the ; latter a snepson. together with five! grandciuldneD.
