Show 8. . SHIELDS DIES IN CALIFORNIA Mrs. Callle E. Cave receved n telegram tele-gram from Oakland, Cal., this niorn-ln?, niorn-ln?, informing her of the death of her brother - In - law, S A. Shields, who will be remembered remem-bered by many of the railroad men nnd older residents of Ogden. Mr. Shields wa3 a resident of this city over 15 years and was a conductor on the ' old Southern Pacific railroad for many years. He was a member of the Order Or-der of Railroad Conductors at tho timo j of his death and the funeral will be in charge of that order. He was also a promlqeut G. A. R. I man and leavos a host of friends In both Watson vllle. Cal., his former home, and in Oakland. oo |
