Somo brick work has been done In tho Interior In-terior of the ba8ement. President Hoywood of the bank says thore will be no "stop orders-" and that the block will be pushed to an early completion. It will bo, a thrce-sry thrce-sry structure, the ground floor to be uucdfor business purposes, the upper floors to bo utilized as club quarters nnd rooming apartments. Tho plasterers are finishing their work in tho Peery block on Hudson avonuo and Twenty-fifth street nnd the painters will take up their tasks within a few days. This building will be hurried to completion to accommodate accommo-date parties who have taken leases. Tho concrete work on the Howell block, across the avonuo from the Peery place. Is being finished and the carpenters, within a few days, will begin the placing of tho stilngers for tho first floor. |
