of the was time to retrench on the appropriations made the speaker stated yesterday that enough apar privations had already beon made to more than exhaust the borrowing capacity of the territory and they were therefore not in favor of making further appropriations for this purpose others alleged that appropriations had been made for almost all purposes to all parties except the farin t er and and geo D F aper to offer and tender to the Tern tory of utah in behalf of the city of salt luke under the condition 6 limitations arid restriction hereinafter named the following described lands and prem sea to be used and devoted to the erection of permanent territorial or 1 state fair buildings to wit I 1 i all of block 25 plat B of salt e I 1 ian the me agg and do sign ted the 1 en ward square I 1 f I 1 city the said conditions limi eions and restrictions to be as 4 follows viz 1 acceptance by the governor 1 and assembly of the designated and the trust erem conferred 1 2 the of one dollar 3 that t a sum oft lv u n ty and dollars be ap a te d bv the governor and legislative of the territory and be expended in the years 1983 and 1889 for the erection of territorial or state fair gail dings and for the improvement of said land 4 that such buildings and land be I 1 used exclusively for Territorial forstate fair purposes 5 that the portion of the ground not actually devoted to buildings as aforesaid be improved and cultivated as a public park 6 that whenever the purposes for which the proposed nit isma d a shall cease ou t arid said ground ceases to be for territorial or state fair purposes as it i ro hen the proposed trust cease and the gant become absolutely void and of no effect and said lands revert to the grantor on the acceptance of the trust bere in proposed and of the
