capital grounds introduced in th P council today to day by mr marsdal Mar it was sent to the house and passed to it third reading SECTION 1 BIC IT EXACTED by tile governor and tile legislative assembly of the territory of utah that the governor of the territory and jag sharp and thomas marshall of the county of salt lake and jos stanford of the county of weber and aaron F farr of the county of cache and anthon lund of the county of san pete and A ca smoot jr of tile counte of utah are hereby appointed a board of commissioners on capitol grounds section 2 provides for their taking an oath of office and filing a bond of 2500 for a discharge of their duties section 3 pro aidea for the oban an tion ith the governor as chairman and for the election of a suitable see detary whose duties are defined of the board in relation to tile grounds which shall I 1 e fenced laid off improved ornamented and eau tidied section 5 provides for the building of a suitable sr by the board in with the aty of salt lake city section 6 authorizes the board to make tests of native stone which may be beat adapted in all respects for capitol buildings also to obtain plans specifications and estimates for
