Show uu WHAT BECOMES OF THE MONEY. The money received from the sale of the Red Cross Seals Is used in the fight against tuberculosis. About ten per cent of the proceds pays for the cost of the seals, advertising matter mat-ter and other expenses of the sale. The remaining ninety per cent remains re-mains in Utah for anti-tuberculosis work. Most of the work of the sale is done by volunteers. Tho city of Salt Lake gives free use of an office. There are no large salaries to eat up the proceeds. The larger the sales the smaller will be the percentage of overhead expense. 1. Specially trained nurses will be employe! to care for those suffering from tuberculosis in their homes and protect their families and neighbors from infection. 2. Medical care and proper food and comforts will be provided where necessary. 3. Clinics will be established where those in the earlier stages of. the disease dis-ease can receive examination and treatment. 4. Health exhibits will be taken about the state and lectures will be given to educate the people in regard to tho prevention and cure of the disease. In fact every means known to physicians phy-sicians and public health workers will be employed so far as the means available will permit The money will be expended by the Red Cross Society and the Utah Public Health Association.
