Two interesting stories of the experiences of German aviators dur lng operatons in the enemy's country have been received here from the front The first Is the recital of two officers who were forced to land from their machine, near a hoBtilo Belgian Bel-gian village because of motor trouble and whose experience nded by the abduction of the trembling village magistrate In an aeroplane; the sec ond is the experience of two aviators, whose aeroplane vsas shot down in the midst of the enemy's country. They managed to find shelter in a forest where they wandered for five days without food Finally they were found, half delirious, by advancing Germans. Two officers, who had to land near a Belgian village were attacked by the local residents, who armed themselves them-selves with shotguns One of the Germans succeeded In seizing the village vil-lage magistrate as a hostage, ana while he kept his pistol at this official's offi-cial's head his companion repaired the motor. Then they made the magistrate mount the aeroplane which luckily was able to ascend with three passengers pas-sengers and sped away.
