Show CONSERVATOR! OF MOSIC IS OPENED The Ogden Conservatory of Music-opened Music-opened yesterday morning and during the day 200 students were registered. A reception and inusicale was a feature fea-ture of tho day's program and the members of the faculty received and entertained a large number ol' local music lovers. The large number of registrations was considered by even the most optimistic op-timistic member of the faculty to be something unusual and speaks well for Oden as a music loln community commu-nity and of its confidence in the members of the conservatory faculty as musicians and teachers. Professor Squire Coop, advisory director di-rector of the conservatory and under whom the majority of the teachers j received their first musical training, was present at the opening and In speaking of it, said "Indications are that the conservatory conser-vatory will be a great success The registration of the opening day was beyond our anticipations and indicates that there are hundreds of people in Ogden who arc interested in musical development. We certainly must an- Icipate 8 splendid year, judging iroiu the registration." |
