Show WEBER COUNTY TO PAY FOR A QUEEN AT STATE m Yesterday afternoon the county commissioners informally held a conference con-ference with Fred Graham of Salt Lake, a representative of the Utah Fair association board at which Mr. Graham explained that the fair committee com-mittee this year desires to make the visit of the county queens and their maids more than ever before a special spe-cial feature of the fair week. To this end, Mr. Graham said, an effort is being made to have the commissioners commis-sioners of the various counties give their immediate attention to the mat ter of selecting the queens and ar ranging for their journey. The commissioners advised Mr Graham that Weber countv will be represented nt the fair b a queen and four maids of honor. There will be four maids for the county districts dis-tricts and that Ogden City will be given the opportunity of seleetlng a queen. The county will defray the expenses of the queen and her maid:; from fair funds which will be received re-ceived from the tax levy of this year oo |
