Show f. oo HASTEN TO SETTLE DRY FARM TRACTS Bl&ckfoot. Ida-. Sept S An extra fece of clerks will be required in U th. Blaekfoot land offiee as the result re-sult oT the recent passage by congress con-gress of a measure allowing agrlcul- tural entries on phosphate land, the settlers waiting all right to the government gov-ernment so far as the phosphate deposits de-posits are concerned. In the repion of southeastern Idaho, northeastern Utah and southwestern Wyoming are vast tracts of dry farming farm-ing land It U estimated that the entire region contains more than 1,-000,000 1,-000,000 acres of dry farming land and that most of it can be handled without working undue hardship on settlers. This act of relief, whereby the settlers set-tlers waive all their phosphate rights to the government has made a "hit" with homeseekers, and the rapid development de-velopment of a region rich, not only! In mineral, but in agricultural resources re-sources seems assured. ' oo |
