Metcalf of San Francisco. Cal., were here today Inspecting the Orem road and the progress being I made on the substation here, the erection of the trolley line and the .. ballasting of the roadbed. Mr. Orem said that sufficient progress was be- H ing made to justify the prediction that electric tars would be running 'fl between Salt Lake City and Provo on fH a fixed schedule by July 15. He also said that the eight electric cars that fl will constitute the Initial equipment J for the interurban service had ar- j rived in Salt Lake City today, having 1 come from the works at N'iles, Ohio. on their own wheels, and that the two small' r ones for the Provo street car .-t:- were on their way on flat llH |
