Show J TOOELE IS READY FOR JULY 4, Tooele, July 1 The committee in charge of the Fourth of July celehra tlon, composed of the following bust ness and professional men of this City, has arranged the program for that day: L. E Kramer, W. H. Clag-ett, Clag-ett, J. A. Kauffman, W T Clemo, A. G. Gowans and Dr. L. A. McBride. The Stars and Stripes will be hoisted hoist-ed at sunrise, with a salute of thirteen thir-teen guns. At 8 o'clock the brass band will serenade the city At 10:30 o'clock In the grove of the South ward meeting house, Hon. W. H. Lea-ry. Lea-ry. orator of the day. will deliver an address S W Lee will sing The j h'tar-Spangled Banner,'" and the band I will be In attendance. The program for the afternoon is as follows: 1:80, children's dance in the Tooele opera house, 2:30, sports in City park, consisting of races suitable suit-able for all, with cash prizes for the winners; 4, ball game at the new Do-remUB Do-remUB and Brown ball park The international Smelting team will play h- regular Tooele team. An entrance en-trance fee of 25 cents will be charged for men The graduates will be free for all. t p m., horse race on Broadway. Broad-way. Plat C. s. Tooele, with a purse of $25 for the prize. Also ;i tug-of-war between different nationalities, with a prize of $20. There will be horse races for cash prizes. |
