"Dix is the choice of the bosses from Weber county," says the Sail Lake Tribune, in a long review o! state politics, in which the organ ot malicious mischief pretends to give a list of candidates In every county of the state favored hy whit it terms the Republican bosses. Having gone so far as to determine the innermost plans of the "bunch, The Tribune should be in position to inform the public as to who are the bosses. Just to put The Tribune to the test, we invite that paper to furnish The Standard with the names of the bosses in Weber county. The Tribune, having inquired as to the candidates with the best or- ganized campaigns, can make a fair! guees as to the men who are mak-l ing the strongest bids for nomination,! rind, by publishing their names and! nccusing the "bunch" of dictating their success, may fool some of Its readers, but the charge of boss control, con-trol, to be at all convincing, should! be accompanied by the names of the bosses So come on Mr. Tribune; lets have the story complete. cc |
