Show SILVER IODIC IS CELEBRATED The silver wedding of Rev. and Mrs. B. H. Leesmann was celebrated by the members of St, Paul's Evangelical Evan-gelical church last Saturday. That date marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of the matrimonial state of Leesmann-Umbeck. As their marriage mar-riage was solemnized at California, Missouri, the jubilants gave room to the thought that tho members of St, Paul's, at Ogden, were ignorant of the date as well as the year of the occasion. occa-sion. Hence it was their intention to enjoy a quiet celebration, confined to the family circle of their four children, chil-dren, two sons and two daughters, with which their matrimonial estate is blessed. However the secret, somehow, some-how, was revealed to one of the members mem-bers and this revelation proved contagious con-tagious and led to quiet preparations on behalf of the congregation. During Dur-ing the day congratulations and remembrances re-membrances from' relatives in the East were received at the residence, 6G1 Twenty-seventh street, and brought the significant occasion, twenty-five years past most vividly to their mind. At 8 o'clock tho family's quiet mediations were nuddenly disturbed when tho home was taken by surprise. The visitors hurriedly took possession of the various rooms. Mr. Julius Muehl, secretary of the church council, coun-cil, presented, in well chosen words, the presents in harmony with the oc- casion, in behalf of the congregation and the Ladies' Aid society.
