Show OBITUARY Miia Daisy A fell the daughter of A G ft iut annie M yell of has summoned to home with the danyl mansions and her demise leaved a alio circles of her friends thai will long unfilled she was bom in ogden on june 7 1870 here alic wad learch and educated leaving graduated aiom alic ogden bublie high school in june 1895 one of the largest classes ever graduated from that school after resting from jica studies for a year she entered the agricultural college at logan where slie took up a special course in search of further knowledge upon leaving that institution she accepted a position as stenographer and bookkeeper with alio utah loan co of logan with which firm bho remained for years her services berat all timea eminently satisfactory and it was with deep regret as well as glowing testimonials that the company parted lier alien for alic sake of her health which had begun to decline she was compelled to resign she returned to glicr home in ogden in poor health remaining hero until sept 18 1901 when in the hope of regaining her former strength and healthy condition bho left to visit her uncle W J grier of rolenzo ro lenno california tho change of climate to agree with glicr and she recovered rapidly gaining eighteen pounds in weight within two months time her hopes were high for she believed site would soon bo well again when suddenly on november 13 last a change for the woric came the decline was so exceedingly rapid and alarming that her father was immediately summoned from ogden mr fell hastened to the bedside of his dying daughter and was glicr constantly from november 17 until the end came three of the best physicians two from one from san jose were called and through six long days and nights the battle with the grim monster death was waged but liaa roll was beyond the aid of human assistance for it was the will of god that she should be called on high and while tho grief stricken fatlich relatives and physicians watched anxiously at the bedside in california and brokenhearted broken hearted mother and sister wept and prayed in butali death waved his wand of victory and the spirit of daisy fell winged its flight heavenward then the father bowed low with sorrow and anguish brought the lifeless remains back to ogden where on the twenty fifth of no ember slie was buried in mountain view cemetery in alie city in which she first saw th elight of day and where she spent so many appy moments and days of her short but sweet life she is gone from among ua but bhe will not be forgotten the sunshine of a family has been cut oil by the clouds of death but it shines high above those clouds in fairer climes of a sweet disposition ocr greeting those whom bhe knew with a kindly friends were legion of an optimistic turn of mind wherever she went she took sunshine and comfort into whatever avenue of life she walked she immediately became a thase whom she came in contact it all times pure her action ladylike and her bearing queenly lucli were her nobleness of character her lovable nature and her smiling fc cring countenance that lier imago ia indelibly engraved upon the hearts of act many friends the sympathy of ogden goes out to the grief stricken family in their dark eliat time alone can lical alic wound we can only add there is no flock however watched and tended but one dead iamb is there there is no fireside howsmer how defended but has one vacant chair she is not dead the of our affection but gone unto that school where she no longer needs our poor protection tec tion and christ himself doth rule la that great cloisters stillness and seclusion cl by guardian angels led cafe from temptation safe from eina pollution she lives whom we call dead CARD OF THANKS to the many good friends who contributed tri buted so much to lessen our sorrow in the loss af pf our dear daughter daisy by tho many expressions of their sympathy and to those who remembered ua ao lavishly with beautiful noral tributes and list but not least to those who placed their every moment at our disposal lessen our cares and burdens we desire to express our keen bense of appreciation and trust eliat in their hour of trouble they may receive alio same generous sympathy and assistance MIL and MRS A G FELL and family |
