Show DEATH OF SHEALY passed away last night at nine after three years of constant wasting from the dread disease consumption the many friends of mrs W J stealy will be pained and shocked to learn of her death which occurred at her home twenty fifth street last night at mrs florence long shealy was born in berlin wis nov her early life was spent at andrews ind and september she wa married to W J shealy and began a happy married life in ogden she made friends very rapidly and firm ones she was a talented artist a singer excellent of voice and was a favorite in society in a very short time in december 1893 she returned to the home of her parent on a visit abid there suffered an attack of la grippe which left her very much x weakened and beinar never very etrope physically the disease rapidly developed into consumption every effort possible waa made to aid her in her recovery and to save her from the clat chot the dread disease noted specialists were consulted and she haa traveled half the world over in the search for health tier last trip was to boulder where she went last fall and there she acme near deaths door that her husband was tent for on hie arrival she became atron eer but the physicians told air stealy that she could not ear vivo the winter she returned home but a few weeks ago and was feeling happy and comparatively strone and looking better than for months when a moments warning she suffered a hemorrhage monday feb jtb she saw the end was near and expressed herself aa satisfied to die if she could not get well abreo years of bad capped her vitality and death would be but a relief careful watching and care by trained nurses kept her alive but lait la it night she buffered another hemorrhage at and at succumbed to death she waa folly cone up to the last moment and whispered to her husband that she waa happy and willing to go kissed him goodbye good bye and peacefully passed away she was a true woman a loving wile and the bereaved has the sympathies of a host of earnest friends in his great loss she will be buried at her old home at andrews ind and mr will leave on his sad mission at tonight frienda may view the remains this afternoon between the hours of 4 and G |
