Show william OBITUARY E hinton it ie alway a sad task to chronicle a death and doubly so when the departed is a young man in the prime oi fi life and endowed with all it takes to make men good and noble such a one was william E hinton on of our fellow townsman loyal griffin he came to utah with his parents in 1887 from ainu county during his residence here he made a large circle of acquaintances by genial whole ways and sterling honesty he was a man of inexhaustible patience and tenacity which was tried to iti utmost during his lone illness of over three months during the entire period he complained little although liis buffering was great typhoid fever which racked his frarie for many weeks left him very weak and rheumatism with which he was afflicted attacked his heart although ho struggled manfully many days he succumbed to the inevitable monday morning at 1030 february he maintained to his last breath that he would get well all was done for him that could be but what ava ileth human frailty at euch a lime he was a man of gigantic stature eta ture being 6 feet 2 inches tall and well proportioned weighing over pounds in health he was employed with the gurney cab company until sickness overtook him last november at the time of his death ho was 21 years 7 months and 3 days old his poor mother is overcome with grief and the anxiety of the many weeks patient watching and tender care she has given him ho was the most and generous of sons jovial and pleasant his entire family are here except a married slater at hendrick idalio mrs geo foutts and mrs charles konantz of uniontown Union town kansas had lie been spared he was to have been married this month the young lady is in kansas and her feelings may be imagined on receipt of this sad news may he rest in peace and awaken to a glorious resurrection is the wish of his many friends and relations notice of the funeral will be found in another column linn county progress Pro giess and blue mound sun please capy |
