Show Farm Loan Officials Attend Convention Thomas B. Farr, prominent banker of this district and president presi-dent and a director of the Smith-field Smith-field National Farm Loan Association, Assoc-iation, leaves for Berkeley Saturday Sat-urday to attend an educational conference of all national farm loan association directors and 'secretary-treasurers in California, Utah, Nevada and Arizona, to be held July 22 and 23. j Many topics of interest to the farmers of this section will be I discussed, among them betng methods of improving farm credit facilities and determining farm lvalues for loaning purposes. Men 'prominent in all phases of agriculture agri-culture will give talks, after which a general discussion will j be held with the directors and ; secretary-treasurers participating Willard D. Ellis, General Agent of the Eleventh Farm Credit Dis-j trict, will welcome the delegates. Charles Parker, President of the Federal Land Bank of Berkeley, will preside at the sessions. Directors of the Smithfield, Association who are attending the conference with Mr. I' air are; Richard Roskelly, Samuel, PEwing, Lucius McCann, William, Mather, and L. S.
