Show KIRKBRIDE RE-NAMED CACHE SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT ! J. W. Kirkbride, Smithfield, su- rerintendent of Cache county schools since 1930, hos been reappointed re-appointed for another two year term, it was announced today by L. H. Allen, board president. Mr. Kirkbride has been especially especial-ly active in improving the district's dis-trict's schools, Mr. Allen said. He has fostered a building and consolidation con-solidation program that is result ing in better educated students. ' Fred Sorensen, Mendon, was I named to succeed Hans P. Ander- sen, who resigned after 29 years , as vocational agriculture super- i visor at South Cache high school, to accept a position in California. Mr. Sorensen, a member of the district system for cix years, has been agriculture and science Instructor In-structor at Wellsville Junior high school. The board approved use of school kitchens in various communities com-munities for'. 4H club project work and authorized transportation transporta-tion of kindergarten children who live in towns where no classes are held, to schools where the classes will be arranged. I Authorization was extended to Mr.. Kirkbride to attend a state school superintendents' conclave June 11 to 15 in Salt Lake City and denied a request by Mendon citizens asking that ninth gradr students' be allowed to enroll at South Cache high school instead of at Wellsville Junior - high.
