RULES PERTAINING TO PERMITS Special deer permits will be valid only on the district for which they are Issued, they shall be non-transferable and there shall be no cancellations can-cellations or refunds. All special deer permits are issued only for the duration of the season specified for each district and become void Immediately thereafter. Each permit per-mit is a license permitting the taking tak-ing on one animal only. SEASON The regular deer season shall be for the period October 16 26. Inclusive, In-clusive, as declared by law. This reason will prevail on all open areas of the state for the taking' of buck deer and all areas as described for the taking of anllerless deer and buck deer by special permit not listed below under special season or closed areas. HOW AND ARROW HUNTING Special permits for the taking of one deer of either sex with bow and arrow will be provided for the areas listed below. FEE: $2.00 with the regular hunt ing license. HUNTING AREAS All that portion of the Mt. Ogden Game Preserve lying south o the Ogden River. Post Season November 6-16 inclusive. in-clusive. The Salt Lake District as described de-scribed above under Salt Lake District Dis-trict for the regular season , DEER TAG REGULATION A hunter is required to tag his doer, whether killed under regular big game hunting license or special permit, immediately after making the kill and it shall be unlawful to transport said deer from the place of kill without said lag being attached thereto. The postcard portion por-tion of the deer tag must be completely com-pletely tilled out and returned to Che Slate Fish and Game Commission. MISCELLANEOUS It shall be unlawful for any person at any time to hunt or kill deer aided by. an artificial light of any kind, used either by the person pursuing pur-suing or hunting deer or by any person per-son guiding, aiding or accompanying the hunter: to hunt, kill or pursue deer with a shotgun of anv gauge; to hunt, kill or pursue dee'r at any time with any kind of revolver, pistol, pis-tol, or with a .25-20 calibre. .22 special, spe-cial, or any other 22 calibre rifle except ex-cept a .22 High Power, a .222 Hornet, or a 22 Swift: to use tracer bullets or. any other than standard ammunition ammuni-tion for the hunting or deer: to hunt. KiM lor pursue doer with dogs. No person under sixteen may procure pro-cure a license of special permit for the hunting of deer. It shall be unlawful for hunters to fai lto stop at checking stations; or to register in and out of checking stations upon areas where stations are established. It is provided by statute that the above rules and regulations shall have full force and effect of law. Any violation thereof shall be considered con-sidered a misdemeanor and shall be prosecuted as such. |
