Maw in Salt Lake Thursday by Dean Clyde, coordinator coordin-ator of the USAC defense school and members of the Logan chamber cham-ber of commerce coordinating committee com-mittee it was announced that Governor Maw had given state approval for transformation of the north end of the big Aggie field house into temporary classrooms. An architect was appointed by the Governor and Friday was determining de-termining the feasibility of such a construction program. Assurance that funds for construction con-struction of the classrooms would be available were given by Governor Gover-nor Maw. ' This increased program will result re-sult in a payroll of approximately $112,500 coming to Logan every month. At the present time the monthly payroll for the Instruction staff and civilian ' employes is $10,000 and will be increased another $2,-500 $2,-500 when additional students arrive. ar-rive. Five hundred and sixty new mechanic learners will be enrolled at the college toy December. These students draw $100 per month from the , government while attending at-tending school. , Most of this monthly payroll of $100,000 will be spent in Logan, as the mechanic learners will pay |
