"Lieutenant' Ivan Phillips, son of .Mr. and Mrs. George Phillips, arrived ar-rived home Tuesday. He is with the U. S. Army at Columbus, Georgia. He will visit with relatives rela-tives for ten days. Willard D. Thornley, who is in the U. S. Army at San Diego, California, is spending the week with his mother, Mrs. Emma Thornley and family. The bride is a talented musician, She is organist for the Smithfield ' Stake, and organist for the Second Se-cond ward choir, and has taken -an active part in other church affairs- Mrs. McFarland is a student of Dr. Frank W. Asper of Salt Lake City, and has studied stud-ied piano with Professor S. E. Clark of Logan. She has been very popular in social affairs. Peterson is at the Budge hospital where he underwent under-went a major operation Wednesday. Wednes-day.
