Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hogan, of Bancroft, Idaho, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Roy West on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Haslam of Salt Lake City, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Canwell on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Farr were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bramley Farr at Salt Lake City on Wednesday. Mrs. Leland Meacham and daughter Loa of Morgan, spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theo Geary. Mrs. Merlin Jensen entertained Wednesday afternoon at her home in honor of the birthday anniversary anniver-sary of Mrs. Norman Lundberg. The afternoon was spent in playing play-ing bridge. Luncheon was served by the hostess to ten ladies. Mrs. Rinda Chambers entertained entertain-ed the members of her bridge club on Friday afternoon. High score prize was won by Mrs. Helen Hel-en Toolson. Tea was served by the hostess to eight club members. Mrs. Elizabeth Scrowther Mac-Lean Mac-Lean is visiting at Fort Lewis, Washington, where her husband, Sergeant Kenneth MacLean is stationed. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Simpson of Salt Lake City visited with Mrs. Mary Weeks and family on Wednesday. Mrs. Roberta Nilson is spending her vacation with friends at Kansas. Mrs. Sam Hammer, of Spokane, Washington, is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Carrie Pitcher and family for three weeks. ""Mrs. Arthur Pitcher and Mrs. -Allen Bullen of Salt Lake City, spent the week visiting with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pitcher and family. Mrs. Lena Smith is at the St. Mark's hospital in Salt Lake City receiving medical care.. She was in an automobile WTeck Saturday night and received cuts in her head and a broken leg. The Ladies' Missionary club entertained en-tertained recently at the Mack park at a no-host party for their partners and the Richmond and Lewiston club members. A variety of games were enjoyed and luncheon was served to thirty members and guests. Mrs. Elva Olsen was in charge of the ar-! rangements. Mrs. Carrie Jensen j was in charge of the lunch. Mr. and Jlrs. Leonard Olsen announce the marriage of their daughter Irene to Marion A. Pope of Park City. The ceremony was performed at the Logan Temple in the presence of the immediate family. Mrs. Pope has been extensively ex-tensively entertained. On Saturday Miss Anna Lou Rees entertained at a Kensington tea at her home honoring the bride. Close friends of Mrs. 'Pope were included. Luncheon was served. Mrs. Pope Is a graduate of the USAC and took an active part in church affairs. The couple will make their tiome at Ogden. |
