For further information call 649-9072. This is held in the Memorial Building. There will also be a blood pressure clinic held on Sept. 23 at the public health offices from 4-6 p.m. Community Clinic The Park City Community Clinic still has openings for appointments ap-pointments on Sept. 16 and 24 clinics. The clinic is a nonprofit non-profit family planning program, offering a variety of services ser-vices that are affordable. These services include: physical exams, PAP tests, VD screening, pregnancy testing, counseling coun-seling and education, and contraceptive supplies. Cost of these services are a minimal charge or on a sliding fee scale. No one will be denied use of th clinic, and all services are confidential. PERC Center open The PERC (Parent's Educational Resource Center) is now open at Parley's Park Elementary School. There are books available on ali aspects of parenting. Come in and have a look anytime during school hours. CF Bike-a-Thon Saturday, September 19th at 1 p.m. is the date and time for the Cystic Fibrosis Bike-a-Thon. It will start in front of the Prospector Square Convention Center, wind through Prospector Park and back to the Convention Center. The course is 1.1 miles. Filing for candidacy There are three elective offices open in the City of Park City, two City Council seats, and the Office of Mayor. If interested in-terested in these positions, a Statement of Candidacy must be filled out. These Statements may be obtained from the City Recorder, at City Hall, 528 Main Street.The candidacy qualifications include: U.S. Citizen, Registered Voter, Minimum Age of 18, Resident of Municipality ( feat fe-at least 12 consecutive months, immediately preceding the date of election). A primary election will be held if there are more than two candidates per seat filing. If only two candidates per seat files, there need not be a primary. The City Recorder will publicly announce on September 15, 1981, the names of the candidates and whether there will be a primary election. The primary election date is October 6, 1981. Voting registration will occur on September 29, 1981, October Oc-tober 27 and October 18, 1981. Districts 1 and 2 (old town) can register at: Burns Residence, 1120 Woodside Avenue; or Price's Residence, 180 Daly Avenue. District 3 (Park Meadows area) may register at: Nelson's Residence, 2212 Ina Avenue. District 5 (Thaynes Canyon area) may register at: Brown's Residence, 2375 Lucky John Drive. The election date is November 3, 1981. Districts will be combined for voting. Districts 1 and 2 will vote at the Ljbrary . Districts 3 and 5 will vote at the High School . Childbirth classes A 6-week course in prepared childbirth will be offered in Park City this September, taught by a certified Lamaze instructor in-structor and obstetrical nurse.
