Games start June 16. 1980-81 Kindergarten Registration Children who will be 5 years old before Oct. 30th are eligible to enroll in the 1980-81 school year. Immunization Clinic The Summit County Health Department will be sponsoring an Immunization Clinic Tuesday, June 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. This clinic will be held at the nurse's office located in Marsac School. If you have children that will be entering school this fall, remember it's a Utah State Law and a Park City School District policy that each child be adequately immunized. If you have any questions concerning what immunizations are needed, please contact the Health Department at 649-9072. Free Blood Pressure Clinic The Summit County Health Department will be sponsoring a free Blood Pressure Clinic on Friday, June 13 at the Alpine Slide. This clinic will be available for the employees of the slide as well as the customers. It will begin at 1 :30 and go until un-til 3 p.m. Summer Rec Programs Starting Soon Summer recreation programs start Monday, June 9. Stop by the City Park recreation office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to register for summer fun! Democratic Convention Meeting The Summit County Democratic Convention meeting has been changed from June 7 to June 17. The meeting will be held at the County Courthouse in Coalville at 7 p.m. Community Education Classes Registration for Children's Dance and Spanish Cooking classes will be held Wednesday, June 11, 1980, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Park City Public Library. Advertising Workshop Coming "How to S-T-R-E-T-C-H Your Advertising Dollars" is the theme for a workshop being sponsored by the P.C. Chamber of Commerce and the P.C. Convention & Visitors Bureau to be held, Monday, June 30 at 8 a.m. Seminar will be held in the Coalition Rooms of the Prospector Square Conference Center. Cen-ter. Fees are: $5 for members of either the Chamber or Bui eau and $7.50 for non-members. Practical discussions and workshops will take place on how to put ads together and what type of advertising is best suited for your particular business. All Park City businesses are welcome to attend. Especially helpful to merchants, restaurants and lodges. Board of Adjustment Opening Park City Board of Adjustment has one position open to appointment ap-pointment by City Council. Persons interested in serving on the Board of Adjustment are encouraged to submit a resume and brief statement of why they would like to assume this responsibility to Mayor John C. Green. Applications will be accepted on or before June 2, 1980, at City Hall, P.O. Box 1480, Park City, Utah 84060. Applications received after June 2, 1980, will be not considered. Applicants must be registered voters and residents of Park City. Chamber Summer Office Hours The Chamber of Commerce office will begin Summer season office hours,, Monday, June 2, as follows: Monday through Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Little Miss Buckaroo Contest The Little Miss Buckaroo Contest at the Summit County Fair will be held June 10, at the Oakley Rodeo grounds. Regristration deadline is Monday, June 2. Any female resident of Summit County, ages 9 to 13 (as of fair time) is eligible. Fire Commissioner Opening Due to the recent resignation of Ivan Koleman from the Board of the Park City Fire Protection District, a new Commissioner Com-missioner is needed to fill his seat. Venereal Disease Hotline The National Venerea Disease Hotline Information and Referral Service has a new hotline number. This service is provided for those who wish information concerning sexually transmitted diseases and other conditions such as Syphilis, Gonorrhea, NSU, Herpes, Crabs, Venereal Warts, Vaginitis, Hepatitis, Scabies, Pelvic Inflamatory Disease and Sterility. Notice to Subdividers Contractors and Builders Main sewer lines, laterals to homes and buildings and any related structures MUST be inspected during installation by the Snyderville Basin Sewer District. ANY lines backfilled prior to inspection will have to be uncovered by you and inspected in-spected before being accepted by the district, cleanouts are required at the property line and every 50 feet to the building. Memorial Building to Close Memorial Building recreation will close for the summer on May 30.
