The shot of one-time locals Carolyn Glazner and Hank Kaiser making tracks in the Park City deep will be seen on magazine racks all over the country, but it's not the first time McDowell has been connected with a well-known well-known publication. Before coming to Park City six years ago, McDowell Mc-Dowell spent three years as an apprentice to the Playboy photography team. He also has spent the last four years working with Powder magazine, as well as being published in the pages of Skiing, Bay. Views magazine and locally, The Newspaper, the Intermountain Skier, the Lodestar, the Park Record and Mountain Graphics in Salt Lake City. Being published in magazines like Skiing and Powder are great stepping stones toward my ultimate goals. I feel proud and honored." McDowell remarked that he has on file six years of Park City events featuring locals engaged in softball, skateboarding, rugby, rodeo and ' skiing. In addition, he will be shooting NASTAR races on a regular basis, with prints ready soon after race time.
